The Netherlands has announced the provision of another military aid package to Ukraine worth about 175 million euros, which will include, in particular, anti-drone radars and evacuation vehicles.

This was reported by the Dutch Ministry of Defense.

"The merciless Russian air attacks demonstrate every day that air defense for Ukraine is literally vital. That is why it is so important that we can supply radars to detect drones," emphasized the Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans.

According to the post, the aid package will include 100 radars to detect drones. These systems are able to detect drones and then transmit this information to air defense systems. The supply of these radars should be completed by the end of 2025.

In addition, Ukraine will receive 20 Ermine CASEVAC unmanned modular vehicles, which can be used to evacuate the wounded.

The Netherlands will also allocate another €80 million for UAVs within the international drone coalition. The Netherlands has already announced an investment of 20 million euros.

"An important step is the signing of large production contracts with the Ukrainian drone industry and an increase in our support by another 80 million euros. Thus, drones and unmanned systems become a new priority in our support for Ukraine," the minister emphasized.

In addition, Brekelmans reported that the Netherlands has signed agreements with Ukraine for the production of 600,000 drones.

"The brutal Russian air strikes emphasize the importance of our continued support for Ukraine. We have signed contracts with Ukrainian companies for the production of 600,000 drones," the minister's message says.

According to the country's Ministry of Defense, these contracts amount to 500 million euros. It should be noted that the new aid package is an addition to the previously announced aid of the Netherlands of 400 million euros.

The minister added that the Netherlands continues to provide support to Ukraine.

"I feel incredible respect for this. In addition to strengthening our own armed forces, supporting Ukraine is the best way to stop the brutal Russian expansion. Therefore, we remain resolute in our support for Ukraine," summarized Brekelmans.

Recall that earlier Rubrika wrote that the Netherlands was to purchase and transfer to Ukraine 51 mobile air defense radars manufactured by Robin Radar Systems by the end of 2024.

Also in May, the Dutch Ministry of Defense confirmed the shipment of the last batch of 24 F-16 fighters intended for Ukraine.
