Ukrainian athlete Onofriichuk wins Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Hoop title and three additional medals

Ukrainian athlete Taisiia Onofriichuk became the champion of the World Cup stage in rhythmic gymnastics in hoop exercises. The 16-year-old Ukrainian also won three more medals in the competition.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation of Ukraine reported this.
The Ukrainian gymnast won the final in hoop exercises.
- The Ukrainian scored 29.250 points.
- The second was Vera Tugolukova from Cyprus (29.200) [a Russian-born rhythmic gymnast who has competed for Cyprus in international competitions since 2023 – ed.].
- The third was Anastasia Salos (neutral status, 28.959) [Belarusian gymnast – ed.].

In the ball exercise, the Ukrainian was second, losing to Tugolukova.

The 16-year-old Ukrainian gymnast also became the silver medalist in the all-around.
With a score of 113.250 points, Taisiia lost the gold medal to Italian Sofia Rafaeli (113.400), and the bronze medal went to Bulgarian Stiliana Nikolova (113.150).
The team in group exercises won another award for Ukraine at the World Cup in Baku. The girls became bronze medalists.
Ukrainian gymnasts Yelyzaveta Azza, Valeriia Peremeta, Kira Syrykina, Nadiia Yurina, and Oleksandra Yushchak scored 48.250 points.
The Bulgarian team won the gold medal (53.400), and the Chinese team won the silver medal (51.850).

Sixteen-year-old Taisiia Onofriichuk is a finalist in the 2024 Olympic Games, a European Championship medalist, a multiple champion and medalist at World Cup stages, and the recipient of a historic all-around gold at the World Cup.

Earlier, Taisiia clinched victory at the World Cup stage in Sofia, Bulgaria, marking her fourth consecutive all-around win. She secured her previous victories at Grand Prix stages in Tartu, Estonia; Marbella, Spain; and Thiers, France.
