Russia was attacked by drones on the night of March 14. Explosions were heard in Moscow, and an oil refinery caught fire in Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory.

The governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, the head of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, the governor of the Moscow Region, Andrey Vorobyov, and Russian Telegram channels reported this.

An attack targeted an oil complex in Tuapse, igniting a gasoline tank. Local authorities have not commented on the night incident.

The fire spread over more than 1,000 square meters, with emergency services actively responding. No casualties have been reported so far.

According to Sobyanin, air defense shot down four drones flying to Moscow.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled the attack of four drones flying towards Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the site of the debris fall," he noted.

The Astra Telegram channel writes that a house was damaged in Moscow. A fire broke out there.

In New Moscow, a drone struck a private house in the Rosinter-2 cottage settlement. The impact damaged a room on the second floor and hit three cars and an ATV parked on the property.

But in the region, two drones were shot down over Balashikha – the debris of one of them fell on a construction site. In Leninsky, the debris fell on a multi-storey building, in which no one lives yet.

Another drone was reportedly shot down in a different district without causing any damage.

During the attack, flights were temporarily suspended at Vnukovo Airport in the Moscow region, as well as in Sochi and Kaluga.
