American businessman Reed Hastings, a philanthropist and co-founder of the Netflix platform, donated two million dollars to the Ukrainian White Stork Foundation. The organization helps Ukrainian doctors on the front lines.

The Deadline publication reported this.

As noted, the charitable foundation cooperates with suppliers in the United States, Europe, and Ukraine without intermediaries.

The organization, led by American veterans, was officially registered as the White Stork Foundation in the United States. In Ukraine, it operates as the charitable entity "CF Leleka-Ukraine."

The benefactors provide doctors with:

  • transport,
  • tourniquets,
  • first aid kits,
  • EW equipment,
  • backpacks,
  • other necessary items.

Previously, Reed Hastings had already donated a million dollars to the Ukrainian Razom for Ukraine charitable foundation.

It should be noted that Ukrposhta, the National Academic Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko and TEATR.org.ua joined forces to purchase a Magura V5 sea drone for the Military District of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which will be named "Konotop Witch".

In addition, the MUR creative association held 25 performances dedicated to the Executed Renaissance during the second wave of the all-Ukrainian tour, which raised a significant amount for the needs of Ukraine's armed forces.

From October 11 to 16, 2024, the Kyiv Palace of Sports hosted an unprecedented musical event: five consecutive concerts by Okean Elzy, celebrating the legendary Ukrainian band's 30th anniversary. The musicians also raised 10.2 million hryvnias for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
