In the first spring days, the exhibition Who Told You I'm Weak? opened at the Museum of the History of Kyiv, dedicated to the multifaceted essence of a woman who knows how to change the world, inspire people and heal souls.
The Kyiv City State Administration reported this.
"Art is a mirror of time. This exhibition shows how strong, multifaceted and courageous Ukrainian women are. It allows you to feel their struggle, hopes, fears, and dreams through artistic images. I am sure every visitor will find something here that will resonate in one's heart," the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondryivskyi commented.

The exhibition is organized into several sections, each representing a specific stage of a woman's transformation. The collected works metaphorically illustrate this journey, exploring women's inner world, emotions, feelings, and dreams through diverse forms, styles, and artistic directions. Esteemed Ukrainian artists, including Roman Selsky, Tetiana Yablonska, Mykola Novikov, Oleksandr Roitburd, Liudmyla Morozova, Stepan Khvylia, Vasyl Krychevsky, and Oleksandr Arkhypenko, contribute to this exploration.

"Today, Ukrainian women have a huge responsibility on their shoulders. They amaze the world with their courage, strength, and love – they serve, help the army, care for children, wait for release from captivity, fight for justice, master "male" professions, create businesses, engage in self-development, and support each other. First of all, this project is a dedication to Ukrainian women, who level all stereotypes and clichés with their thirst for a full life despite disturbing news and irresistible circumstances," Diana Popova, Director General of the Museum, said.

The exhibition features exhibits from the collections of the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv and its branch, the Museum of the Ukrainian Diaspora, the NU ART gallery, and Yurii Hutsu's private collection.
The exhibition is open to the public during the Museum's regular hours at 7 Bohdana Khmelnytskyi Street, 4th floor.
