Ukrainian athletes sweep prizes at Estonia's 2025 Miss Valentine Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics

During the initial stage of the 2025 Miss Valentine Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix in Estonia, two Ukrainian athletes secured prizes in every category. Overall, the Ukrainian national team earned awards across all types of competitions.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports reported this.
As reported, the Ukrainian national team in group exercises achieved the following results:
- Second place in the all-around;
- Third place in the final with five ribbons;
- Second place in the final with three balls and two hoops.

The following athletes entered the team: Diana Baieva, Yelyzaveta Azza, Oleksandra Yushchak, Valeriia Peremeta, Kira Shyrykina and Uliana Velyka.
In addition, Taisiia Onofriychuk and Polina Karika won gold and silver medals in the women's all-around competition. American Megan Chu took third place.

In the all-around, gymnasts competed in four disciplines: hoop, ball, club, and ribbon. Twenty-one athletes took part in them.
Taisiia Onofriychuk achieved first place in all four Grand Prix disciplines, reaching the finals (top 8) in hoop, ball, club, and ribbon. She earned a total of 115.8 points from the judges across the four disciplines, securing the gold medal in the individual all-around.

Another Ukrainian athlete, Polina Karika, claimed the "silver" medal. She scored 109.1 points and placed second in the exercises with the hoop, ball, and ribbon.
In total, Taisiia and Polina qualified for all the finals in the individual events, and each of them secured seven medals. Polina captured second place in the ribbon final, while Taisiia secured third. Taisiia triumphed in the club's final, taking first place, with Polina earning the "silver."
Polina and Taisiia also won "gold" and "silver" in the final with the ball. Taisiya won the final with hoop.
The ministry wrote, "Congratulations on the brilliant results of our gymnasts and their coaches, and I wish them a successful continuation of the season!"

It is worth adding that at the 2025 World Junior Championships among pairs, Ukrainian figure skaters Sofiia Holichenko and Artem Darensky won "silver" and became vice-champions.
