"However, the most important thing was that Ukrainian children, who are forced to experience the horrors of war every day, were able to forget about the constant sirens, air raids, shelling, at least for a short period, and relax, enjoying their childhood," the diplomatic mission emphasized.

In addition, children who are members of two musical ensembles, "Sokolyky" and "Horlytsia," took part in a charity concert in support of Ukraine at the National Library of Latvia on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. They performed wonderful Ukrainian songs and compositions on the bandura.
The embassy expressed sincere gratitude to friends and partners – Ziedot.lv and the Embassy of Norway in Riga – for supporting such initiatives as holding camps for Ukrainian children in Latvia, thanks to which Ukrainian children can both relax and continue to develop in calm and favorable conditions.
As a reminder, the Seimas of Latvia hosted an exhibition of drawings by Ukrainian children from Chernihiv, "Colors of the Commonwealth: Ukraine-Latvia."
It was also reported that a Ukrainian comic strip from the social comics magazine Inker was translated and published in the Delfi publication in Latvia. The strip, "Blind Spots," is about a Mariupol woman who overcomes Russian propaganda within herself.
