Ukraine’s armed forces destroy Russian thermobaric ammunition depot near occupied Selydove and strike Ilsky refinery overnight in Russia

On the night of February 28, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian thermobaric ammunition storage facility in the Selydove area of ​​the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. They struck the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. Earlier, Ukraine's intelligence soldiers struck a Russian forward command post in the Kherson region.

The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reported this on Facebook.

"On the night of February 28, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a thermobaric ammunition storage facility of the Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, in the Selydove area," the report says.

Furthermore, three additional key Russian military facilities were targeted, including the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory, which plays a role in supplying the Russian army. 

The outcomes of these strikes are currently being assessed.

Moreover,  the military of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine successfully struck a forward command post of Russian troops in the Ivanivka area of ​​the Kherson region.

As reported, on February 26, at about 10:00 p.m., the forward command post of the 14th Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces was hit.

The strike was carried out by scouts of Ukraine's intelligence Active Operations Department using explosives dropped from a drone.

As reported, on January 31, units of the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the command post of the Kursk Group of Forces of the Russian Armed Forces in the city of Rylsk, Kursk Region.

Also, on January 12, Ukraine's armed forces launched an air strike on the command post of the 2nd Guards command post Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation, located in the city of Novohrodivka, Donetsk Region.

And on January 10, the Defense Forces struck the command post of the 3rd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces. It was located in Svitlodarsk, Donetsk Region.

As a reminder, on January 8, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation. It was located in the captured Khartsyzsk, Donetsk Region.

Also, on January 7, Ukrainian defenders attacked a command post of Russian troops in the Kursk region. A precision strike was delivered to it.

In addition, on January 2, the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had delivered a precision strike to an enemy command post in the settlement of Maryine, Kursk region.

A few hours earlier, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko, said that the 810th Russian brigade had suffered significant losses as a result of the strike on the Kursk region.
