Russian forces strike Kostiantynivka, killing five and injuring 11

In the Donetsk region, Russian strikes on the city of Kostyantynivka resulted in at least five fatalities and 11 injuries.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, and the National Police of Ukraine reported this.

"The Russians dropped guided aerial bombs on the city and its surroundings, according to preliminary information – 3 pieces," the head of the region said.

The head of the regional military administration reported that at this time, five residents had been killed and eight injured.

Filashkin also noted that recently, Russian attacks on civilians in Kostiantynivka have become more frequent and harsher.

"It is dangerous to stay in the city! Evacuate on time!" the head of the regional military administration emphasized.

Law enforcement officials clarified that the enemy dropped at least six FAB-250 air bombs on the city and its surroundings. Rescue operations are underway.

"Among the dead are a 47-year-old woman and four men: 56, 57, 75 years old, the age of another one is being determined," the police added.

Later, at 15:53, the National Police reported 11 wounded.

"Five women and six men aged 33 to 83 were wounded," the report said.

52 civilian objects were destroyed, including more than 20 residential buildings.

As reported, the Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops; almost every day, the Russian army kills and injures civilians and destroys houses, enterprises, energy, gas, and other infrastructure facilities. Donetsk region has the longest front line – about 300 km.
