European and Canadian leaders visit Kyiv

Several leaders of the Baltic states, Europe, and Canada arrived in Kyiv on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal announced this on the social network X.

As can be seen from the photo and video, the guests from Ukraine were greeted by:

  • Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak,
  • Head of the Foreign Ministry Andrii Sybiha.

He added that over the past three years, Ukraine has shown the world "the true meaning of resilience" and that only Ukraine "can determine the conditions of peace."

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda separately reported on his visit to Kyiv.

Latvian President Edgars Rinkėvičs wrote about his visit, noting that three years ago, as Latvian Foreign Minister, he was in Kyiv when Russia launched a full-scale unprovoked attack on Ukraine.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez also posted a photo of himself in Kyiv, noting that "Spain stands by Ukraine."

As reported, European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on the morning of February 24, the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.

On the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukraine's leadership extended their gratitude to all those defending the nation.
