Solutions to win: Ukrainian Defense Ministry approves Teslia logistical ground robotic complex for armed forces use

The Ministry of Defense has officially codified and approved the Teslia logistical ground robotic complex for deployment within units of Ukraine's armed forces. Notably, each wheel of the robot is powered by an individual engine.

The Ministry of Defense's press service reported this.

"The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine the logistical ground robotic complex "Teslia," the message says.

As noted, the robot "Teslia" was manufactured at a Ukrainian enterprise, and it is designed to transport various cargoes on the front line.

The department notes that each wheel of the hexodrone has a separate engine.

The Teslia ground robotic complex is designed to continue operating even if some engines or wheels are damaged. Its six-wheeled chassis decreases surface pressure, thereby reducing the risk of triggering anti-personnel mines.

The press service also reported that the hexodrone is capable of:

• traversing hills and trenches, 
• as well as executing a "tank" U-turn on the spot.

It is reported that its wheels can be equipped with airless tires that perform tasks even after damage.

"The Teslia ground robotic complex is designed to fit within the body of a military pickup truck or minibus. 

It is capable of transporting up to two hundredweight of cargo and features a quick-change battery that can be efficiently swapped in the field," the Ministry of Defense reported.

As reported, the defense department codified and approved for use in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine ground robotic complexes Spextr of various modifications. The complexes will be controlled remotely and used to reduce risks to humans.

Moreover, the Ukrainian company Robotic Complexes introduced a new ground drone, "Pliushch," with a 10-meter mast that can carry a repeater and electronic warfare (EW) systems.

The Ternopil-based company Robotic Complexes developed the Murakha logistics ground drone from scratch, beginning work on the platform in October 2022. The manufacturer set out to create a universal robotic complex that matches its foreign counterparts' tactical and technical characteristics but at a significantly reduced cost.

Additionally, the Ukrainian company Frontline announced plans to scale up production of a robotic turret for the Mk 19 "Buria" grenade launcher. This advancement is expected to significantly reduce risks for operators by allowing them to control the weapon remotely from a secure position.
