The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhny, and King Charles III visited the Trauma Research Center of Imperial College London. They got acquainted with the British experience in treating combat injuries.
The diplomat reported this on Facebook.
"I was honored to accompany His Majesty the King during his visit to the Trauma Research Center of Imperial College London.
In conversations with British researchers and doctors, we discussed medicine, the latest research, and the rehabilitation of the wounded.
About how Great Britain uses its experience in treating combat injuries gained in Afghanistan and Iraq to help Ukraine. But there was something more," the former commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces wrote.
He added that he saw a desire to help and a willingness to learn, including from Ukrainians.

"Ukrainian doctors, paramedics, and military medics have gained unique experience during these years of war, which is becoming critical not only for us but also for the whole world. Ukraine, which is forced to save lives every day in emergency conditions, has become a laboratory of advanced medicine.
We don't just take – we give, sharing knowledge about tactical medicine, organizing evacuation, treating mine and explosive injuries, and rehabilitating amputees," Zaluzhny informed.
