BGV Charity Fund donates 21 tonnes of food to 13 animal shelters, foundations, and rehabilitation centres

From January 17 to 24, the BGV Charity Fund team delivered 21 tonnes of pet food to 13 shelters, foundations, and animal rehabilitation centres across Ukraine. Assistance was provided to the following:

  • NGO "What Have You Done", which distributed food to the 4 Paws shelter, currently home to over 700 animals;
  • Svetlana Tkachuk's shelter, which houses 240 dogs and 220 cats;
  • Kovcheg Animal Shelter, which has been rescuing animals in Odesa for 23 years;
  • Zooplatform shelter, which has taken in more than 700 animals over the past 6 years;
  • The Sirius Animal Shelter, the largest in Ukraine, home to over 3,000 dogs and cats;
  • Sumy Society for the Protection of Animals, which provides daily care for over 500 animals evacuated from frontline areas;
  • The "12 Sentinels" Charitable Foundation, which has been evacuating animals from frontline areas since the start of the full-scale invasion;
  • Bezprytulnyi Svit, which cares for animals that have suffered from violence or injuries;
  • SOS Society for the Protection of Animals, home to 1,000 dogs and 198 cats;
  • Unity Ukraine, which focuses on animals endangered by the war;
  • Hostomel Shelter, which provides refuge for over 700 animals;
  • Animal Protection Centre, which offers sterilisation, treatment, and adoption services for stray animals;
  • Happy Paw, which regularly supports over 400 shelters housing more than 60,000 cats and dogs.
