On the night of February 10, air defense forces and equipment were working in the Krasnodar Territory due to the detection of drones. The Afipsky Oil Refinery could have been hit, a fire broke out on its territory, and a high-rise building was damaged in Krasnodar.

The Governor of the Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, and Russian media reported that.

Around 1 a.m., Krasnodar Telegram channels reported a drone attack in the region. According to Russian media, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected near the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, prompting ongoing air defense operations in response.

The Mash TV channel reported that residents of Slavyansk-on-Kuban counted at least 10 explosions.

Warning! Profanity!

Later, reports about a drone allegedly hitting a residential building in the Krasnodar Krai appeared online. Russian propaganda resources claimed that "Ukraine's armed forces are attacking residential buildings in Krasnodar."

Instead, local governor Kondratyev made a statement that the mayor of Krasnodar told him about the damage caused by UAVs to the "Central" residential complex – supposedly a Ukrainian drone "was shot down over the city, the debris fell on the technical superstructure on the 19th floor of the building."

A Russian official confirmed that the Russian Armed Forces' air defense operations resulted in a strike on the high-rise building.

In addition, the Krasnodar governor says that according to preliminary data, no one was injured.

Thus, the mayor of Krasnodar Naumov stated that the debris of the "shot down Ukrainian drone" fell on the technical premises on the roof of a building in the Hay Market area and that there were no victims.

"Special services and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene, where it happened is surrounded. A house-to-house inspection is underway to determine whether residential premises were damaged," the statement from the governor of the Krasnodar region reads.

Later, the governor of Kuban said that another drone "was shot down in the village of Afipsky, Siversky district."

"Unfortunately, the debris damaged a private house there. No one was injured; special services are working at the scene," the official said.

Earlier, online discussions suggested that the Afipsky refinery could have been the intended target of the drone attack, with reports indicating that several drones were allegedly neutralized near the plant.

Footage of the drone attack in the Kuban that night and a fire on the territory of the refinery appeared on the network.

For reference:

Previously, on the night of February 5, reports emerged of a drone attack in Russia's Krasnodar region. There were complaints about a UAV strike and a subsequent fire at an oil depot near the Kanevskyi district.

Later, the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces confirmed the strike on the mini-refinery "Albashneft" in the Krasnodar Krai. After the strike was successful, a fire broke out at the facility.

On February 9, the networks showed satellite images of the oil depot "Albashneft" in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation after the attack on February 5. The facility's tanks were damaged.

Also, on the night of February 8, drones attacked four regions of the Russian Federation, as a result of which explosions were heard there. In two regions, oil refineries were targeted.
