Russian airstrikes hit Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk in Donetsk region, leaving one dead and ten injured
The Russian army launched air strikes on residential areas of Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk. There is information about a victim and more than 10 wounded civilians.
The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office reported this.
The prosecutor's office reported that at approximately 9:15 p.m. last night, Russian forces launched eight airstrikes on Kostiantynivka. The attacks employed FAB-250 bombs, a Soviet-designed 250-kilogram general-purpose air-dropped munition equipped with a unified gliding and correction module.
As a result of the shelling, two women and three men were injured.
They were taken to the hospital with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, and a fracture.
At 10:00 p.m., Kramatorsk came under enemy fire.
According to preliminary data, the Russians dropped FAB-500 with a unified gliding and correction module on the city.
As a result of the shelling, a 52-year-old man died, and seven more people were injured. They were diagnosed with contusions, lacerations, and stab wounds. At the time of the shelling, the victims were in their homes.
The Russian strikes caused damage to:
- 26 private and apartment buildings,
- 76 garages,
- 24 cars,
- seven power lines,
- and a gas pipeline.
It is worth recalling that the Donetsk region continues to evacuate residents due to increased shelling and hostilities. Evacuation trains regularly transport people to safer areas of Ukraine. There, the displaced are provided with necessary assistance.
The regional military administration has recently declared a mandatory evacuation of children from 12 settlements in the Donetsk region.
Previously, it was reported that Russian troops attacked a vehicle belonging to JSC "Ukrposhta" near Pokrovsk. Fortunately, the employees inside survived the attack.

On the night of February 10, the Russian invaders used 83 Shahed-type strike drones and simulator drones of various types against Ukraine. Air defense forces operated in 11 regions of the country and shot down 61 UAVs.
Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions suffered from the enemy attack.
In particular, on the evening of February 9, a Russian drone hit a parking lot in one of the residential quarters of the city of Sumy. A large-scale fire broke out, and several residential buildings were also damaged.
According to the regional military administration, debris from a drone damaged 30 summer cottages within a summer cottage cooperative in the Poltava community. Additionally, a car garage in the area caught fire.
