Solutions from Ukraine: Zhytomyr region launches project to celebrate inspiring women
The cultural project "Interactive Museum 'Voices of Women of Zhytomyr Region'" has been launched in the Zhytomyr region. It aims to celebrate and promote the achievements of the region's remarkable women.
Ukrinform reported this.
"A large-scale cultural project, the Interactive Museum "Voices of Women of Zhytomyr Region," has started in the Zhytomyr region. This project brings back from oblivion the names of outstanding women of the region. We are creating a new format for studying history.
Thanks to artificial intelligence technologies, non-standard artistic reconstructions of portraits of outstanding women of the Zhytomyr region have been created," the public organization Kitchen of Useful Things said.
Additionally, audio stories about each of the project's featured women, narrated by Zhytomyr actress and journalist Tamila Butko, have been published on the YouTube channel of the NGO Kitchen of Useful Things.
The project also features exhibitions in Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Zviahel, and Korosten, where visitors can view life-size figures of the heroines and listen to stories about their lives.
The project's final stage will be a theatrical performance in the format of documentary theater, highlighting the daily exploits of Ukrainian women who emerge as leaders in their communities and societies.
The project is dedicated to 12 women associated with the Zhytomyr region. These are:
- writer and scientist Olena Pchilka,
- public and political activist Vira Nechaivska,
- volunteer and philanthropist Nataliia Orzhevska,
- vocal teacher at the Volyn Music College in Zhytomyr Sofiia Kosova,
