BGV Group Management becomes new general sponsor of Ukrainian national basketball team
The Ukrainian national basketball teams have gained a new general sponsor ahead of their pivotal European Championship qualifier matches. The BGV Group Management investment group is now backing the men's and women's national basketball teams.
The Basketball Federation of Ukraine and Gennadii Butkevych's BGV Group Management have entered into a sponsorship partnership agreement to support the Ukrainian national teams' participation in international matches.
"We are pleased to announce the beginning of our cooperation with the BGV investment group, which is making a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian sports. From now on, they are the general sponsor of the Ukrainian men's and women's national basketball teams. In these challenging times, supporting sports is a significant undertaking. I am confident that both parties will benefit from our partnership with BGV Group Management, and this is just the beginning of our long-term relationship. We are grateful to the company for its support," Volodymyr Drabikovsky, Secretary General of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine, commented on the sponsorship.
The BGV logo will feature on the uniforms of the Ukrainian national teams during the upcoming qualifying matches for the 2025 European Championship. The Ukrainian women's national team is scheduled to play its qualifying matches on February 6 and 9, while the men's national team will compete on February 21 and 24.
