US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg will visit Ukraine on February 20.
The Office of the President of Ukraine reported this to Suspilne.
"Special Representative Kellogg's visit is planned for February 20; the American side proposed this date," the sources noted.
It is worth noting that Keith Kellogg was supposed to visit Ukraine in January, before Donald Trump's inauguration. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed that the date of the visit had already been agreed upon.
But then it turned out that Kellogg's visit had been postponed. Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi explained that this was due to legal reasons.
On February 3, US President Donald Trump signed an official decree appointing retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg as Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia.
For reference:
Kellogg previously announced that he would participate in the Munich Security Conference, which will be held on February 14-16.
The US President's special representative intends to discuss the issue of ending the war in Ukraine with allies.
At the same time, Bloomberg, citing sources, writes that Kellogg may present the Trump Administration's plan for ending Russia's war against Ukraine during the conference.
According to unconfirmed reports, such a plan may include freezing the war and guaranteeing Ukraine's security.
