Russia shells Chornomorsk, injuring four, damaging hospital, grain warehouses, and trucks

Russian invaders attacked the city of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region with strike drones on the night of January 31, as a result of which four people were injured, and several buildings and cars were damaged.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported on Telegram.

"Russian terrorists attacked Chornomorsk. As a result of the attack, a city hospital, a private residential building, an administrative building, a grain warehouse, and trucks were damaged.

Four people were injured; one of them was a doctor who was operating the enemy strikes. All of the wounded are in moderate condition. Two are hospitalized, the others are being treated as outpatients," the head of the region reported.

According to Kiper, the enemy strike caused problems with electricity supply to part of Chornomorsk and its suburbs.

The head of the regional military administration assured that DTEK [the largest private investor in Ukraine's energy sector—ed.] specialists are already working to restore power to homes.

Yesterday evening, it became known that the Russian army again launched strike drones from several directions into the territory of Ukraine.

As a result of the attack, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. The sounds of explosions were also heard in the capital. Later, it was reported that falling debris was recorded in one district, and the balcony of one of the apartments of a multi-story building was damaged.

However, it was later clarified that the damage was unrelated to the Russian attack.

A Russian attack in the Sumy region has resulted in injuries, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration. Two individuals sustained injuries of varying severity and have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

On the night of Friday, January 31, Russian forces launched 102 strike drones over Ukrainian territory. Air defense units responded across 12 regions, successfully shooting down 59 enemy UAVs, while 37 drones failed to reach their targets and lost their location.

The enemy attack affected the Sumy, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions.
