There, the vehicles will be handed over to Ukrainian defenders who daily protect the country from Russian aggression.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia expressed gratitude to LatvEnergo, the Ziedot charity foundation, and the volunteer organization Bruņotava, which facilitates the delivery of vehicles and humanitarian aid, for their ongoing support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people. He also wished safe travels to all those involved in this important mission.
Assistance from Latvia
As a reminder, on January 14, another humanitarian shipment for Ukrainian defenders was sent from Latvia, which included a Volvo truck and a Volkswagen AMAROK pickup truck loaded with vital equipment.
As previously reported, to raise funds for drones for Ukraine, Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, ran her first half marathon, raising €13.5 thousand, with the total amount continuing to grow.
Next year, Latvia will once again allocate €20 million euros for the international drone coalition aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. Moreover, Latvia has begun training Ukrainian drone operators.
