What is the problem?
The war in Ukraine continues, leaving behind not only destroyed buildings but also broken destinies of people, destroyed infrastructure, lost businesses, and enormous challenges for the future. Despite the heroic resilience of Ukrainians, the country's recovery requires significant resources, efforts, and, most importantly, international support.
Many Ukrainian communities face problems: How can they attract foreign investors who will help rebuild hospitals, schools, roads, or enterprises? How can they convince the international community that Ukraine is a place of opportunities even in the most difficult times?
In addition, Ukrainian businesses often lack the tools and platforms to present their ideas to the world. Many promising projects remain "behind the scenes" because they are unable to find investors, partners, or donors who are ready to invest their resources in Ukraine's reconstruction.
War not only brings destruction but also highlights the importance of unity. Today, Ukraine needs a platform to connect with international partners, investors, and local government representatives. A platform that discusses issues and showcases solutions attracts support and kickstarts large-scale reconstruction efforts immediately.
What is the solution?
That is why the Club of Mayors, together with international partners such as Economy of Trust Ukraine Inc., the UMEDA Development Agency, the Rotary Club of Spain, and the World Trade Center Madrid, decided to unite, and on February 25-28, 2025, a unique trade mission REBIRTH OF UKRAINE will take place in Madrid. This mission allows Ukrainian businesses and local authorities to make themselves known globally. It is an opportunity to show that Ukraine is a place for investment, cooperation, and development, even in the darkest times.
How does it work?
The mission will feature a series of events aimed at fostering effective networking and partnership opportunities:
- a forum to present your projects, connect with like-minded individuals, and secure support for implementation;
- B2B meetings to facilitate productive dialogues between businesses and investors;
- a tour of Madrid to explore local culture and business practices;
- a visit to Meat Attraction, a premier exhibition for the agricultural and gastronomic industry;
- and much more.
Only 50 Ukrainian businesses specializing in the following areas will be selected to participate in the mission:
- Agriculture and agrarian technologies;
- Infrastructure, including construction and energy;
- Healthcare and rehabilitation.
