What is the problem?

As the developers noted, in Ukraine, thousands of children with cerebral palsy and other disorders cannot express their thoughts, emotions or ask for help.

"Many children in Ukraine dream of something simple – to say "hello", "I love you" or ask for help. But for thousands of them who have cerebral palsy or other disorders, these words remain unattainable due to physical limitations," they noted.

At the same time, access to special devices is too expensive for such families, and alternatives are often absent.

What is the solution?

"Children with autism, cerebral palsy and other psycholinguistic developmental disorders face serious difficulties in communication. We want to change this with the help of a specialized AI application that allows them to express themselves and overcome language barriers," the project authors emphasized.

How does it work?

EYA is a unique mobile application that uses artificial intelligence and eye tracking technology to give a voice to children who cannot speak. Thanks to this application, children will be able to quickly and easily express their thoughts, emotions and needs.
