Russian artillery attack leaves three wounded in Semenivka, Chernihiv

On the morning of January 7, Russian invaders attacked the city again.

Based on Chaus' report, the injured individuals include:

• two men, aged 45 and 65,
• as well as a 68-year-old woman.

"Two people were hospitalized," the head of the regional military administration added.

According to the regional administration, the Russians targeted civilian infrastructure, damaging:

• an enterprise,
• buildings and homes of residents.

Based on these facts, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – war crimes.

In the Chernihiv region, late in the evening, January 4, Russian invaders dropped four guided aerial bombs on the border town of Semenivka.

Explosions were also heard in Chernihiv on January 3. According to preliminary data, the enemy launched 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. One person was killed, and seven were injured as a result of the Russian shelling. 28 houses were also damaged as a result of the shelling. Two more were destroyed.

In addition, on December 18, Russian invaders shelled the border territory of Chernihiv region, as a result of which a policeman and a teenager were injured. In the morning, it became known that the law enforcement officer died in the hospital.

On the afternoon of January 4, Russian invaders targeted a residential high-rise building in the Sumy region with an aerial bomb, resulting in 10 people being injured. Later that evening, emergency workers successfully concluded rescue operations in Svesa village, Shostka district, Sumy region, after a Russian airstrike on a residential area earlier in the day. The number of victims remained unchanged.
