Russia sees devastating loss of 430,790 soldiers in 2024 – Ukraine's defense ministry

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 8,956 enemy armored combat vehicles last year, equivalent to the number of armored personnel carriers used by over 37 motorized rifle divisions. The most significant blow to the enemy's armored vehicle inventory occurred in October 2024, with a total of 923 units destroyed. This resulted in Russia losing at least half a billion dollars in that month alone.
In the past year, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed 13,050 enemy artillery units, equivalent to 725 artillery divisions.
