Towards the end of the year, Rakuten Viber typically asks Ukrainians if they plan on donating to Ukraine's armed forces and their friends in service. Participants also shared how they became aware of the fundraisers. Approximately 30 thousand individuals participated in the survey through the official Rakuten Viber Ukraine channel.
The survey results showed that 63% of Ukrainians donate to the Ukrainian army; 44% do so from each salary. At the same time, every fourth respondent (27%) helps in other ways. The research method used was an anonymous online survey with a sample size of over 30,000 participants. The main age group was 34 to 45, with over 50% of respondents falling under the age of 45.
