Solutions from Ukraine: three modern shelters for safe education built in Kyiv region
In the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region, three new shelters for students and educational institution staff have been completed.
Rubryka reports this, citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
What is the solution?
"We are actively increasing the number of shelters to ensure that children's education is not only high-quality but also as safe as possible. The President of Ukraine has tasked us with providing a full-fledged educational format for children," noted the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KRMA).
How does it work?
In the Bila Tserkva district, shelters have been constructed for the following institutions:
- Fursiv Lyceum-Gymnasium,
- Uzyn Lyceum "Obdarovanist,"
- Uzyn Lyceum "Uspikh."
Each shelter, designed to accommodate 500 people, was constructed using funds from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
The shelters are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable and safe stay, featuring:
- Inclusive Accessibility: Adapted to meet the needs of all children.
- Technical Systems: Ventilation, sewage, fire protection, alarm systems, and security measures.
- Comfort and Safety: Furnished spaces, food and water storage facilities, bathrooms, changing rooms, and a medical center.
- Modern Equipment: Two shelters in Uzyn are equipped with multimedia tools and computers.
The Kyiv region is among the leaders in shelter construction, with 1,291 shelters already established in educational institutions and approximately 100 more under construction.
Additionally, in Kyiv, new anti-radiation shelters have been built in preschool institutions in the Darnytskyi district, designed to meet modern safety standards and equipped with the necessary communications.
