Ukraine received a $1 billion grant from the US from the proceeds of frozen Russian assets. This is the first tranche of the planned $20 billion that the United States is ready to allocate through the use of immobilized Russian assets within the framework of the G7 initiative.
Germany has transferred a new package of military aid to Ukraine. It includes IRIS-T and Patriot air defense systems, generators, turnstiles, tents, 120 mm mortar ammunition, mines, demining equipment, etc.
The Ministry of Defense has allowed the use of the Zmii Lohistychny armored platform in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The developer is the Ukrainian company Rover Tech. Zmii has officially entered NATO standards, can withstand drone strikes, hits on anti-personnel mines and is capable of transporting up to 500 kg of cargo.
The IMF has provided Ukraine with another $1.1 billion. According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the funds have already been deposited into Ukrainian accounts and will be used to finance critical budget expenditures.
Ukraine received about $1.7 billion from the Japanese government. These funds are intended for projects in the social, medical, educational spheres, as well as for business recovery and support.
