Ukraine's armed forces eliminate Russian officers at headquarters in occupied Zaporizhzhia region using HIMARS
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the military eliminated three officers from the Russian army. The intruders had a meeting and were taken out by HIMARS.

"Three officers of the leadership of the Russian occupation forces were eliminated as a result of a successful operation by the Department of Active Actions of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine's armed forces and the operational grouping of troops "Tavria," the message says.
Ukraine's Security Service employees obtained information about a planned meeting with the participation of officers of the command of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian occupation forces, who are participating in the criminal war against Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
"After checking and confirming the data, military intelligence officers developed a plan for the operation, in which the Tavria Special Operations Command, Unmanned Systems Forces, and the Typhoon tactical group of Ukraine's Security Service joined forces and means," Ukraine's intelligence noted.
As the intelligence officers said, immediately after the start of the occupiers' field meeting, a high-precision strike was carried out with HIMARS on a gathering of Russian officers and their vehicles.
Later, after the arrival of the evacuating group of the invaders, strike drones of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces attacked.
As a result of the operation, the following were eliminated:
- Commander of the 1st Battalion of the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, Captain Dmitry Nagorny;
- Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Chief of Intelligence of the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, Captain Grigory Krokhmalov;
- Commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian Armed Forces, Captain Yuri Fomin.
Five units of Russian automotive equipment were also destroyed.

On the night of December 25, Ukraine's armed forces struck the location of the command post of the 810th separate marine brigade in Lgov, Kursk region. The enemy suffered losses among the officer corps.
In particular, as later specified in the Defense Forces, 18 Russian servicemen could have died as a result of the strike on Lgov, most of whom were staff officers.
