Russian forces use kamikaze drone to bomb central market in Nikopol, leaving multiple injured
Russian invaders launched an attack on the central market in Nikopol using a "kamikaze" drone. Many people were injured.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that.
"Russian troops struck the central market in Nikopol. Six people were injured – four women and two men," the report says.
First responders, accompanied by emergency medical personnel, promptly administered first aid to the wounded and brought them to the hospital.
According to rescuers, commercial premises were significantly damaged.
On the evening of December 26, Russian forces bombarded Nikopol twice with powerful artillery, causing damage to several structures, including:
- power lines,
- two shops,
- three tall buildings,
- and one unused building.
There were no deaths or injuries.

It should be noted that the invaders are constantly attacking the local population in Nikopol with drones. For example, on October 28, the Russian Federation attacked Nikopol, which is in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with kamikaze drones. Two children were injured.
In August, the Russian invaders tried to destroy a fire department in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. On Friday, August 30, the Russians fired three shots at the rescuers.
On the night of December 26, Russian forces launched 31 drones of various types over Ukraine. The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 20 enemy Shahed drones and lost 11 more in location.
