Russian military launches massive attack on Ukraine with 70 missiles and 100 drones on Christmas – Zelensky

According to preliminary data, Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down more than 50 missiles and a significant part of the drones that the Russians launched the night before.

The leader informed that there were power cuts and blackouts in multiple areas. Electricians are diligently working to reinstate power as soon as possible.

"Thank you to everyone currently working for the country, on combat duty, and protecting our sky. We will restore the maximum. Russian evil will not break Ukraine and will not distort Christmas," Zelensky stressed.

On Christmas morning, following the nightly drone launches, the Russian Federation launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, utilizing both ballistic and cruise missiles. Energy facilities were once again targeted.
