Alyona Getmanchuk will head Ukraine's Mission to NATO
Alyona Getmanchuk, the founder and director of the New Europe Center, will lead Ukraine's Mission to NATO.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his evening video address on December 20.
According to the New Europe Center's website, Alyona Getmanchuk is an experienced expert in foreign and security policy. She has been working in the analytical sector since 2009. She is the author of numerous analytical documents, many of which focus on Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
In addition, Alyona Getmanchukk has nearly 15 years of experience as an international columnist and editor. Her portfolio includes numerous analytical articles in leading Ukrainian and international media. Her blog on Ukraine's most popular online outlet, Ukrainska Pravda, was previously titled "Euro-Atlanticist's Diary."
In March 2022, Alyona Getmanchuk became a non-resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council's Eurasia Center.
Alyona Getmanchuk noted that her diplomatic mission aligns with the mission of her professional life—Ukraine's membership in NATO.
"It is time to fully utilize what has been achieved and scale efforts to a new level. Ukraine will be in NATO, NATO will be in Ukraine," Alyona Getmanchuk emphasized on her Facebook page.
