Russian aggressors bomb Kyiv with eight missiles in morning strike

The Russian occupiers launched a combined missile strike on Kyiv at around 07:00 on December 20. A total of eight missiles were fired.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), Serhii Popko, stated this, according to the KCMA press service.

It is reported that the enemy probably used ballistic missiles. As a result of this strike, debris fell in 3 city districts.

• In the Holosiivskyi district:

An office building, road surface, and gas pipe were damaged with subsequent depressurization; 5 cars caught fire. According to preliminary data, one person was killed, and another was injured. The information is being clarified.

"Due to the enemy attack and damage to the heating main in the Holosiivskyi district, 630 residential buildings, 16 medical institutions, 17 schools, and 13 kindergartens are currently without heat. The report says that Kyivteploenergo crews have already begun to work on eliminating the consequences of the large-scale damage," the report says.

At another address, the facade of an office building was damaged, followed by a fire on the roof, and there was destruction on the fifteenth floor (people were probably trapped). Two people were previously injured and hospitalized.

• Solomianskyi district:

A fire broke out in a non-residential building due to falling debris. The fire has been extinguished, and no injuries have been reported.

• Shevchenkivskyi district:

"Nine injured as a result of the enemy attack on the capital. Four of them were hospitalized. The body of one deceased was also found," the report says.

Information about the debris fall in the Dnipro district was not confirmed after the inspection.
