The new assistance was announced by the Danish delegation headed by Danish Minister for European Affairs Marie Bjerre Holst, who arrived in Kyiv for the first time.
The new assistance package for restoring Ukraine's energy infrastructure will be directed to the Energy Community Fund for Ukraine's Energy Support.
Currently, Denmark is one of the leaders among Ukraine's partners in terms of the volume of assistance as a percentage of its own GDP.
"Support for Ukraine has been and remains one of Denmark's priorities," Minister for European Affairs Marie Bjerre Holst emphasized.
As the minister noted, her country seeks to see Ukraine as a member of the European Union and will provide comprehensive support on its path to European integration.
The MEPs stressed that they will continue to support Ukraine consistently at the European Parliament level.

In April, Denmark was the first country to allocate funds to support the Ukrainian defense industry in purchasing weapons for its armed forces. Later, Canada also joined the effort and will make direct contributions to producing drones.
Denmark has already completed a pilot project that financed the production of 18 Ukrainian-made "Bohdana" artillery systems. The army received these weapons.
In September, the Danish government announced its plans to purchase weapons from the Ukrainian defense industry for 4.2 billion Danish kroner (563 million euros).
Subsequently, Ukraine and Denmark signed several agreements on purchases for the defense forces, totaling 4.2 billion Danish kroner. By the end of 2024, the Defense Forces will purchase long-range drones, anti-tank missiles, missiles, and artillery systems manufactured in Ukraine.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex would receive another 130 million euros from Denmark in early November.
Denmark has also already transferred six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which will receive 19 aircraft in total.
