Solutions to win: UWC and Saint Javelin team up for charity holiday campaign to provide FPV drones for Ukrainian army
In partnership with Saint Javelin, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) announced the launch of a special holiday campaign, "Birds of Freedom 2.0 – A Christmas Special," to raise funds for the urgent provision of first-class FPV drones to Ukraine's armed forces.
This was stated on the UWC website.
What is the problem?
The congress noted that due to the long-term aggressive Russian genocidal war, the demand for such necessary equipment has reached an unprecedented level.
FPV drones are essential tools of modern warfare, as they provide real-time reconnaissance and increase the effectiveness of experienced Ukrainian pilots in the fight against Russian occupation forces.
UWC President Pavlo Grod stressed the importance of supporting Ukraine's victory, noting that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become an integral part of the fight for independence, emphasizing that Ukraine is a leader in implementing advanced drone technology into its military strategy.
What is the solution?
The UWC calls on Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine worldwide to join the "Birds of Freedom 2.0 – A Christmas Special" campaign.
How does it work?
All donations will be used directly to buy and deliver FPV drones, significantly impacting the Ukrainian forces' battle.
Donations can be made via the link.
As a gesture of gratitude for their support of Birds of Freedom 2.0, the UWC provides its generous donors with exclusive gifts.
Those who join will get a special edition of one-of-a-kind "Birds of Freedom" patches worn by drone pilots, representing their commitment to the cause.
Donors will also have the unique opportunity to personalize the drones with their own inscriptions, leaving their mark on these essential instruments of the fight for peace and freedom. These gifts will remind them of their invaluable contribution and transform the connection between donors and those fighting for Ukraine's sovereignty.
The Canadian organization Saint Javelin plays a key role in the Birds of Freedom 2.0 campaign, using its fundraising and social media expertise to amplify the UWC's efforts. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and ensuring the safety of its defenders on the front lines.
For reference:
It should be noted that as part of the fundraising campaign "Birds of Freedom," organized by the Ukrainian World Congress and Saint Javelin, it was possible to raise over 223 thousand dollars (9.25 million hryvnias) for FPV drones for the defenders of Ukraine.
In 2022, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) created the Community Development and Advocacy Fund to support Ukrainian diaspora NGOs.
It was also reported that in Lviv, during the charity race "Run with the Steel Lions," over 300,000 hryvnias were raised for equipment for the 80th Galician Separate Airborne Assault brigade.
