Ukrainian jujitsu fighters dominate with 274 medals at World Championship in Poland

At the World Championships held in Mikołów, Poland, 783 athletes from 38 countries competed. The Ukrainian national team performed impressively, taking home 274 medals.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports reported this.

Ukraine was represented by 105 athletes who won the following awards:

  • 99 gold;
  • 82 silver;
  • 93 bronze.

Results in categories:

  • Adults: 20 "gold", 20 "silver" and 40 "bronze" medals;
  • Juniors: 20 "gold", 20 "silver" and 17 "bronze" medals;
  • Teenagers: 59 "gold", 42 "silver" and 36 "bronze" medals.

In the team standings:

  • 1st place — Ukraine
  • 2nd place — Kazakhstan
  • 3rd place — Poland

"We congratulate the athletes and coaches with an excellent result," the department emphasized.
