Ukrainian students triumph at World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2024 competition

Ukrainian startups have dominated the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and emerged as the global youth entrepreneurship competition winners of the World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2024.

The Junior Academy of Sciences reported this on its Facebook page.

The competition became a platform for talented teenagers from different countries of the world who presented their innovative ideas.

In total, three teams of young scientists from the Ukrainian Future Incubator business incubator of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine participated in the competition in the USA:

• OUTEX (Yuliia Tkachenko and Kyrylo Martyniuk),
• PhAInix (Vadym Dobrovolsky),
• EcoMind (Arina Khmeliuk).

The victory was won by the OUTEX startup team, which presented an innovative project and received a financial reward.

"Outex is an application for sports and rehabilitation based on artificial intelligence. Thanks to a neural network, it determines key points on the body, analyzes the user's movements, and assesses the correctness of the exercises. If the movements are inaccurate, the system gives an audible signal. After each workout, the user receives a report on calories burned, duration, and effectiveness of the workout. In addition, Outex creates individual training plans," the winner, Yuliia Tkachenko, said about her project.

The demo version of the application is being tested and prepared for use with real users. It will be available to everyone soon.
