Russian army launches missile strike on Odesa, injuring civilians

According to Oleksandr Kharlov, the first deputy head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the ballistic missile attack targeted a highly populated residential area without any military objectives.

"Currently, five victims are known; they have been hospitalized. Their lives are not in danger," Kharlov said.

It is worth mentioning that on November 18, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on residential buildings in Odesa, resulting in multiple civilian casualties. Shortly after the attack, reports emerged about fatalities and injuries, confirming the deliberate targeting of the shelling.

At first, there were reports of eight fatalities and 18 injuries. But later on, the toll rose to 10 deaths and over 40 wounded. Among those who were killed were seven police officers and a medic. The injured included four children and 14 members of law enforcement.

Due to the combined Russian attack on November 17, the energy infrastructure in the Odesa region suffered damage, causing disruptions in the provision of heat, water, and electricity in the area.

In the Odesa region, the enemy targeted the region's energy infrastructure. As a result of the attack, two employees of the energy facility died.

It was also reported that explosions were heard in Odesa on the evening of November 14. The military disclosed that they observed a fast-moving target. Due to the enemy's attack, the main heat supply pipeline was affected. The operations of one of the city's boiler houses have been temporarily stopped.
