The editor-in-chief of the Censor.NET publication, Yuriy Butusov, reports this.
Butusov recalls that earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin threatened to strike NATO forces if Ukraine began to attack with long-range weapons on Russian territory.
"And today, another of the Kremlin's 'brown lines' have been breached. And now the whole world will be watching to see if Putin will dare to take any action. The start of long-range strikes on the Russian Federation will not lead to a quick turning point in the war. Still, it will inflict significant losses on the rear facilities of the Russian army, complicate the maneuver and logistics of the Russian army in the border areas, and force it to stretch its air defense assets further. The enemy will be under its sights hundreds of kilometers deep into Russia," Butusov emphasizes.
It should be noted that on the night of November 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the arsenal of the 1046th logistics center near the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. The operation led to significant explosions and fires on site, and a detonation was observed in the target area.
"As of 02.30 this night, 12 secondary explosions and a detonation were recorded in the target area. The destruction of ammunition depots for the army of the Russian occupiers to stop the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will continue," the military command noted.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces noted that the strikes on arsenals and other military facilities of the Russian Federation are aimed at weakening the ability of the Russian occupation forces to continue armed aggression against Ukraine. Such operations will continue in the future.
For reference:
It is worth mentioning that the Russian leader announced the planned changes to the nuclear doctrine in September after a permanent meeting of the Security Council on the Russian Federation's nuclear deterrence.
At that time, he said that Russia may consider the use of nuclear weapons after a massive strike by air and space attack vehicles and border crossings. In particular, this concerns strategic and tactical aviation, cruise missiles, drones, hypersonic and other aircraft.
Experts see an element of psychological pressure in the new doctrine. The Kremlin is trying to intensify its rhetoric to intimidate Ukraine's partners and reduce their support. At the same time, the Russian Federation seeks to legitimize its aggression, using the alleged threats from NATO and the United States as cover.
