Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Development of Communities and Territories, Oleksii Kuleba, as well as Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, were present at the meeting.
"The second visit of the US Deputy Secretary of State to Kyiv in recent months highlights a commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation. We appreciate the US Department of State's decision to lower the travel risk level for nine of our regions. This is a significant step for both people and businesses," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
During the meeting, participants discussed government strategies to attract foreign investments. The Prime Minister noted the recent establishment of the Strategic Investment Council, which is designed to organize and prioritize key projects for Ukrainian cities and communities.
The parties also addressed the restoration of critical infrastructure and the protection of energy facilities. Shmyhal expressed his gratitude to the United States for its support in these areas.
The Prime Minister further thanked the US for its substantial financial assistance and its backing of initiatives aimed at Ukraine's recovery.
