Russia kills three children in ballistic strike on Kryvyi Rih, including two-month-old baby

Three children's remains were discovered among the debris of a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, where a Russian ballistic missile hit on November 11. One of the deceased was a two-month-old infant. The death toll from this missile strike has now risen to four, as of November 12.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported that on Telegram.

"Two children's bodies were found under the debris of a building in Kryvyi Rih… The previous day's rocket strike on the city claimed three lives," the head of the region emphasized at first.

Lysak added that rescuers were continuing their work.

Later, the head of the regional military administration reported that they had discovered the remains of a third child buried beneath the debris – a baby girl who was less than a year old.

"In total, during yesterday's attack on Kryvyi Rih, the Russians killed four people. A terrible tragedy. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims. The search and rescue operation is over," Lysak concluded.

An entire family fell victim to the Russians a mother and her three children perished at the hands of the invaders:

  • two boys, aged 10 and 2,
  • and a baby girl who was only 2 months old.

Only yesterday, reporters from "Suspilne" had a conversation with Iryna at the location. She shared that her daughter-in-law and three grandchildren aged ten, two and a half, and two months were still trapped beneath the rubble. Her son had also been injured. Iryna was at work when the attack occurred and upon hearing the news, she attempted to contact her family, but received no response. She then quickly made her way to the site of the disaster.

"The son went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. He remained alive – he fell to the second floor. But now they are looking for his wife and children under the rubble," the woman said.

As previously reported, a Russian missile hit a high-rise building in Kryvyi Rih. One of the entrances was destroyed.

According to Lysak, apartments from the first to the fifth floor of one of the entrances were destroyed in the multi-story building. A fire broke out. The windows of 35 apartment buildings and 11 cars were damaged.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration wrote that the number of victims due to the attack on Kryvyi Rih has increased to 14. Search and rescue operations were ongoing.

The head of state, Volodymyr Zelensky, after the attack of the Russian occupiers on Kryvyi Rih, said that Russia only wants the continuation of the war.
