Russia launches another night assault, killing five in Mykolaiv and one in Zaporizhzhia
On the night of November 11, Russian attack drones hit Mykolaiv. Several residential buildings in the city caught fire. The death toll has risen to five people. Additionally, Russian forces launched three airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed, and nine were injured, including three children.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, and the State Emergency Service reported that.
Mykolaiv
On the night of November 11, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv with drones. Fires broke out in residential buildings in the city.
"There are fires in residential buildings in the city; all services are on the ground," Kim wrote.
Before that, the Air Force had informed about the Russian drone attack on the city and surrounding areas.
Around 2:45, explosions rang out again in Mykolaiv.
In the initial report, Kim stated that there were two fatalities in Mykolaiv. Additionally, a 45-year-old woman sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Later on, it was revealed that four individuals had already lost their lives in the city.
Currently, Mykolaiv has suffered a total of five casualties. The search and rescue efforts have been concluded, as confirmed by Kim.
According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out after the UAV hit a private one-story house.
A fire also damaged an apartment on the fourth floor of a four-story building, with flames affecting three or four levels.
State Emergency Service psychologists are on site, and 22 individuals have sought assistance. One woman experienced a severe stress reaction and was hospitalized for a hypertensive crisis.
Rescuers extinguished fires within an area of 60 and 150 square meters.
The police clarified that as a result of the hits, four residents of a private house (three women and a man) and a resident of an apartment building were killed.
In the morning, Kim reported that the invaders attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed-131/136-type drones.
Due to the attack, there were fires in both a high-rise and a private building, but they were quickly put out.
"One private house was destroyed, and several were damaged, including a high-rise building. Two cars were destroyed. The explosion caused damage to multiple apartments and four shops, resulting in a breakdown of the heating system and a disconnection from both the heat and gas supply," Kim said.
Zaporizhzhia
At 1:30 am, the enemy launched three airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, a man lost his life. Nine people sought medical attention for injuries sustained. Among the wounded are a 15-year-old girl and two boys aged 4 and 17.
As a result of the shelling:
- the shockwave partially destroyed a two-story residential building,
- a dormitory sustained damage,
- and a car showroom building was also affected.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
The local authorities have deployed three buses and are currently evacuating residents from the dormitory. All city emergency services are on site, working to clear the aftermath of the shelling.
Fedorov later announced that the total number of wounded from the enemy attack in Zaporizhzhia overnight had risen to 18, which included five children.
Boys aged 4, 16, and 17 and girls aged 15 and 17 received the necessary medical assistance.
As a result of the attack, a residential building was destroyed, and a dormitory was damaged.
According to Fedorov, the number of injured individuals from the enemy airstrike in Zaporizhzhia has now risen to 20.
Eight people were hospitalized, including a 4-year-old boy.
Kyiv
On the night of November 11, there was also an air raid alarm in Kyiv due to enemy drones being sighted in the region.
