Kyiv's air defense successfully thwarts drone attack, Russian aerial bomb hits supermarket in Kharkiv, injuring 14
On the evening of November 4, Kyiv was once again targeted by enemy drones. Fortunately, the air defense forces could neutralize all of the Russian drones. Moreover, the previous evening, on November 3, Russian invaders attacked Kharkiv. A supermarket was struck, resulting in approximately 14 casualties.
The Kyiv City Military Administration, the National Police, and Kharkiv's Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that on Telegram.
UAV attack on Kyiv
"Last night, the Russian armed forces launched yet another attack on Kyiv using drones. They resorted to their usual tactics, but once again, our defense forces were able to thwart all of the enemy UAVs and prevent them from reaching their target," Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, wrote.
Meanwhile, due to the drone strike on Kyiv, the remains of the UAV came crashing down.
"Local fires were recorded – grass and leaf litter were burning. There were no casualties or damage," Popko clarified.
In particular, drone fragments fell in the Obolonskyi and Desnianskyi districts on open terrain.
"In the Desnianskyi district, where the drone's wreckage fell, there was a fire on the territory of the Muromets park.
According to initial reports, there is a fire on the embankment in the Obolonskyi district. The greenery is ablaze," Kyiv's Mayor Klychko said.
It should be noted that on the night of November 3, Russian invaders launched attack drones over the capital. Air defense forces could shoot them down, but falling fragments caused fires in the Desnianskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.
The road surface, lighting poles, and electric wires in the Shevchenkivskyi district are damaged.
Guided aerial bomb attack on Kharkiv
It has been reported that the Russian forces launched two attacks on Kharkiv. The first strike took place in a wooded area, and initial reports suggest that they utilized a precision aerial bomb. Fortunately, no injuries or damage were reported.
Afterward, Russian soldiers launched an attack on the Shevchenkivskyi district. The strike occurred in a supermarket close to tall buildings.
According to preliminary information, in addition to the supermarket, power lines and ground electric transport were damaged, and windows in nearby houses were broken.
Terekhov later reported that another strike had occurred near one of the markets in the Kholodnohirskyi district. Preliminary information indicates that there were casualties, but the windows were shattered.
According to the police, there were 14 victims, including four officers. Preliminary information suggests that the Russians used FAB-250 aerial bombs from the Unified Gliding and Correction module to target the city.
Furthermore, at approximately 10:30 p.m., an enemy anti-aircraft missile struck the ground near the cemetery in the Derhachi community of Kharkiv region. Several houses were damaged.
Investigators have initiated criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war in accordance with Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As per the mayor of Kharkiv, October proved to be yet another trial for Kharkiv. The city was bombarded 25 times, with the Russians primarily utilizing FAB–250 air bombs. The air raid sirens blared for a total of 339 hours.
During October, nine people died; 2 of them were children. 130 residents were injured, including five children.
