Ukraine’s foreign minister arrives in South Africa for political negotiations

On October 27-28, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, will hold a series of talks with high-ranking South African officials on the eve of important international events in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly and other officials of South Africa, the expert community, leading analytical centers, and the scientific and teaching staff of the University of Pretoria, leaders of South African business associations and the Ukrainian community.

"During the meetings, the minister will focus on the development of political dialogue and cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of South Africa, the promotion of the Peace Formula as a single path to a comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace, cooperation in the context of the presidency of the Republic of South Africa in the Group of Twenty in 2025, coordination of positions on the eve of several important international measures," the message says.

The minister's visit to South Africa concludes his diplomatic tour of several Arab and African states, during which he had already visited Oman, Angola, and Egypt in the previous days.
