Solutions to win: national boxing team donates European championship winnings to support Ukrainian intelligence
The Ukrainian national men's and women's boxing team, who achieved first place in the overall team standings at the U–22 European Boxing Championship, chose to donate the 42,000 US dollars prize money to support the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports reported this.
The department said the funds would be provided to Ukraine's intelligence to support defenders resisting Russian aggression.

The ministry is stressing that the war will significantly impact Ukrainian sports. 545 Ukrainian athletes and coaches lost their lives at the hands of the occupiers.
"In light of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, as of October 21, 2024, Russian forces have already killed 545 Ukrainian athletes and coaches, as well as destroyed 523 sports facilities. Despite this, Ukrainian athletes continue to show high results and demonstrate indomitable spirit," the department emphasized.
