Solutions to win: Ukrainian Ministry of Defense authorizes “Tarhan” unmanned ground robotic complex for military use

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has officially sanctioned the use of a new unmanned ground robotic system, known as "Tarhan," by armed forces' units.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that.

The department states that Ukrainian engineers were responsible for this innovative development, designed to assist with logistical and operational tasks on the battlefield.

The "Tarhan" robot system is known for its compact size, making it easy to transport in a minibus or on a car trailer.

Despite this, the robot is capable of transporting up to 200 kg of cargo, which includes:

• ammunition,
• food products,
• military equipment.

Besides being lightweight, the robot has a quiet electric motor and big rubber wheels that enable it to discreetly travel long distances on the battlefield.

The Ministry of Defense recently codified and approved the delivery of the "Varan" buggy, a Ukrainian off-road vehicle designed for tough operating conditions.

As Rubryka wrote, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, two volunteers, Volodymyr Mussur and Roman Borynets from Broshniv-Osada, are creating a ground drone to evacuate wounded soldiers. The radio-controlled device will accelerate up to 20 km/h and can transport at least 150 kg.

It was also mentioned that the Lviv School of Computer Technologies and Construction developed the one-of-a-kind "HURKIT" all-wheel drive buggy, which has no equivalent.

Moreover, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have begun utilizing the most advanced "MRIYA" aircraft attack drones on the frontlines.
