Eco-solutions: Kamianets-Podilskyi schoolboy wins silver at international exhibition with revolutionary air purification device

Clean air in such conditions is important for health, and this is what inspired Artem to create his invention.

This event gathered more than 500 participants from 20 countries of the world who presented their innovative projects.

Artem Yasinskiy received a silver award at the exhibition for his air purification device.

Artem attends Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 1, where he is taught by Ivan Telychko, a seasoned educator who specializes in physics, mathematics, computer science, and astronomy. Artem attributes his advanced scientific knowledge to the guidance and advice provided by his mentor.

"The boy has already demonstrated his scientific abilities before, as he was the winner of last year's "The First Step in Science" regional competition. He also recently participated in the nationwide youth scientific and technical project competition "InventorUA" and was among the 148 participants. His work focusing on "Health preservation and treatment of diseases" was also recognized and awarded," the press service said.

Artem's success at INOVA 2024 is not his first achievement. In July of this year, he won a competition for the top ecological projects in Ukraine thanks to his innovative design of a vertical wind turbine.

"The boy developed an innovative model of a vertical windmill that solves the key problems of traditional wind generators. His installation is able to catch wind from any direction, has a lower starting force, and is mobile and silent. Artem not only created the model, but also carried out detailed calculations dependence of the voltage on the wind speed, demonstrating the maximum efficiency of the installation at relatively low wind speeds," the city council previously told.

It's worth mentioning that the recent "ComunTech–2024" exhibition in Kyiv showcased the newest model of a hydrogen bus designed by the Ukrainian company "Politehnoservice." This upgraded version of the PTS 12 bus integrates both electric propulsion and hydrogen fuel cells.
