What is the solution?
According to the emergency workers, the car purchase was made possible through funds from selling the Patron the Dog charity postage stamp.
It's worth mentioning that the Ukrposhta postal company dedicated this postage stamp to honor the rescue heroes who, along with their four-legged companions, carry out demining operations in liberated areas.
"Each new machine is an opportunity to make more land safe for use. We are grateful to everyone who joins such initiatives," Andrii Danyk, head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, stressed the importance of this equipment for the country's security.
How does it work?
A humanitarian demining machine (HMD) is a Ukrainian-made heavy minesweeper created based on a civilian excavator.
Thanks to special attachment equipment and a remote-control system, the operator can control the machine from a safe distance, reducing the risks to sappers' lives.
During the machine's transfer, sappers of the State Emergency Service checked its practical use and also familiarized the event participants with the work of pyrotechnic units.
In addition, they demonstrated equipment used in daily territory demining and equipment damaged by enemy explosive objects.
It should be noted that the operators will undergo preliminary training to work on the humanitarian demining machine in accordance with the operating manual and standard operating procedure.

Additionally, it was reported that the Ukrainian company A3Tech-Ukraine had received a certificate of conformity for the MV–10 heavy demining machine. This company assembles large units and partially produces Croatian DOK–ING machines.
Furthermore, Ukrainian developers participated in the "Safe Field" hackathon, organized by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Kyiv School of Economics, where they tested their developments for mowing dense vegetation in mined areas at a training ground.
