Eco-solutions: Kyiv unveils new ecological trail in Holosiivskyi National Nature Park
On October 14, a new ecological trail called "Forest and Climate" was presented in the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park.
Holosiivskyi National Nature Park reported that on Facebook.
What is the solution?
The "Green Reconstruction of Ukraine" initiative, supported by Greenpeace, was responsible for implementing the eco-trail project.
This initiative aims to involve activists and public organizations in strengthening the environmental movement in Ukraine.
How does it work?
The route of this eco-trail runs along the slope of the valley of the Holosiivskyi (Didorivskyi) stream, which is in the heart of the Holosiivskyi forest.

The trail's purpose is to educate visitors about the impacts of climate change and the crucial role that forests play in reducing its negative effects. Visitors will also learn about the national park's forests and the particular tree species native to the region.
The ecological trail "Forest and Climate" will help raise environmental awareness and be an excellent place for walks and excursions in nature.
Park employees invite everyone to visit this route and learn more about the importance of forest conservation in the fight against climate change.
For reference:
The foresters have set up a recreational trail in the forest near Zhytomyr that stretches for two kilometers and ten meters. It includes 12 stops with benches, a mini-library, and a tree nursery.
Also, in Lviv, in Sknylivskyi Park, a sensory trail is being set up for children under the age of five. Sknyliv Park employees are carrying out the work.
