"An infrastructure object, private residential buildings, and cars were damaged in one of the city's residential areas. Some fires have already been extinguished in the areas of 30 and 400 square meters.

In addition, in another part of the city, a restaurant complex and shopping pavilions burned. The fire is localized to 1,400 square meters. The liquidation is in progress," the emergency workers added.

The head of the region also reported on the situation in the Mykolaiv region:

  • Yesterday, October 14, at 10:50 a.m., the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community with FPV drones. There are no casualties.
  • Also, yesterday at 11:30 a.m. (October 14), the enemy fired artillery on the village belonging to the Halytsynivska community. This led to damage to a private house, a farm building, and agricultural machinery. Luckily, there were no casualties.

It is worth mentioning that the Ukrainian Air Force warned about the potential use of ballistic weapons from the south during nighttime hours in areas where an air alert has been issued.

However, Mykolaiv's mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych, reported on the explosions in the city before the air alert was declared.

Later, the Air Force indicated high-speed targets on Mykolaiv.

For reference:

On October 10, Mykolaiv was bombed by enemy troops for the second time since the beginning of the day, resulting in casualties from the Russian attack.

Furthermore, on October 14, Russian forces once again launched a ballistic attack on Odesa's port facilities. The assault caused damage to two civilian vessels, including the "OPTIMA," a Palau-registered dry cargo ship that had already been damaged previously. Sadly, one person was killed, and eight others were wounded as a result of the attack by Russian troops on the Odesa port.
