The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy stated that it is 1.5 times more than the previous month, Rubryka reports.
"Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian farmers have received more than 231,000 hectares of inspected and cleared agricultural land from sappers. Of this, over 30,500 hectares were handed over to agricultural producers in September," the statement said.
Mine action operators have inspected 257,000 hectares of land since the start of 2024.

In September, 71 mechanical demining machines and 684 demining teams, totaling over 4,200 specialists, were involved in humanitarian demining and rapid response efforts.
Earlier, Rubryka reported that since the beginning of the year, more than 200,000 hectares of fertile land had been inspected, cleared of mines, and returned to farmers so they could resume planting and harvesting crops.
